Food Drive for the Hungry in Long Island

Commencing in May of 2008, Rob, together with his wife, Felicia, and his partners at the Law Firm of Thaler & Gertler, conducted a food drive both at the Long Beach office and the East Meadow office.  This was in response to the reported shortage of food at food pantries on Long Island.
 
 
Rob speaks at the Bar Association on Bankruptcy

In February 2008, Rob helped introduce the next generation of lawyers to the real world of bankruptcy practice by presenting at the Nassau Academy of Law, Nassau County Bar Association.  The program entitled "Bridge-the-Gap" is intended to help young lawyers transition from law school to the real practice of law.  Rob addressed numerous bankruptcy issues including discharge and the automatic stay.
